New photos in Gallery

I feel like I'm talking to myself here, but ...

There are some new photos in the Gallery, from Rob McManus:
 Cyrtocara moorii
 Nimbochromis venustus
 Otopharynx lithobates
 Placidochromis phenochilus
 and Protomelas similis.

OK, where are all the American cichlids ... this is starting off a little lob-sided.

Whoops ....

See open your mouth (fingers?) and along comes another ad ... ebay ... and nothing to do with cichlids. Well you can buy them there I suppose.

.... of course you can (I checked) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3212&item=2389475953 Cheap too!

I know ... it has banner ads

These Web Log (Blog) things do have a banner ad at the top, and only CitySearch derives income from them. I think Fairfax (who I work for) sold CitySearch last year ... so I don't have a vested interest (I think). Who knows how Google get their chop.

The facility has to be paid for somehow ... and in Mr Google's defence, I must point out that he tries to make the ads relevant to the classification of the blog. So far, the only ad to turn up is for a LFS in Perth ... that's fine by me. As more LFSs go electronic (and advertise with Google), I presume they will start turning up too.
